Amruta is a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team of W.S. Kane and Co. She has been associated with the firm since the year 2021.

 

Amruta has completed B.L.S., LL.B from Mumbai University, Maharashtra, in 2018 and holds a Master’s degree in Law with a specialization in Intellectual Property from Jindal Global Law School.

 

While Amruta advises clients across several sectors and domains, she extensively practises in commercial and contractual disputes, involving commercial and criminal laws, arbitration, insolvency, debt recovery, consumer, testamentary and real estate.

 

Another key area of her practice is contentious company law matters before the National Company Law Tribunal such as schemes of arrangement, oppression / mismanagement disputes and insolvency / winding up matters. As a part of her restructuring and insolvency practice, she represents financial and operational creditors, firms and corporate debtors.

 

Amruta appears and represents clients before various fora including arbitrations, the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, Trial Courts, National Company Law Tribunals, National Company Law Appellate Tribunals, and other regulatory forums, across the country.
