Shaziya holds an MBA degree in Marketing from IBS Hyderabad and a LLB Degree from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. She has been with the firm since 2017 and has experience in trade mark, copyright and design prosecution matters including trade mark, copyright and design application filings, drafting of oppositions, counter statements, evidence affidavits, rectifications, cease and desist notices, deed of assignment, due diligence and opinions amongst others. She has also regularly advised clients on prosecution matters and has represented clients in trade mark application and opposition proceedings before Trade Marks Registries across jurisdictions in India. She has also been part of the firm’s IP Litigation Team and has appeared before the Bombay High Court in trade mark and copyright infringement and passing off cases. She is based in Hyderabad and travels between Mumbai and Hyderabad for her work commitments.
